About Instructor
Akiko Victorson has studied the art of calligraphy from a master calligrapher since she was in Japanese elementary school. Now living in U.S.A., Akiko teaches calligraphy/ Calligraphy Art to children who are interested in Japanese culture at Tucson Japanese language school, Japanese class at college and Boys and Girls club as a volunteer. She also does demonstrations at many cultural events in Tucson such as Tucson Meet Yourself, Tucson Japanese festival and Reid Park Zoo. She sells her unique Calligraphy Art at demonstrations and on-line. These designs include calligraphy scrolls on special Japanese paper and antique Kimono fabric.
